Charming and distinctive – the Fleming's story

It all started back at the beginning of the nineteen sixties. Our company founder, Ignaz B., was working in New York at the time as a chauffeur and, as fate would have it, one of his regular customers was James Bond creator Ian Fleming. They often ended up in lively conversation, among other things, about what would make the “perfect hotel”. From that time on, Ignaz B. had a dream which he could never let go of. He wanted to open up a hotel where the individual needs of each and every guest would be satisfied all along the line. Many years later, this entrepreneur fulfilled his dream. And he already had the perfect name – Fleming's!
The first Fleming’s hotel opened in Frankfurt in 2005. Soon after, in the same year, the Fleming’s hotel in Munich-Schwabing opened. Many more followed on. The Fleming’s dream came true in Vienna and Zurich too. The youngest member of the Fleming’s family is still undergoing renovation work and is expected to open at the end of 2018 – the Fleming’s Selection Hotel in Hamburg, meaning that the company is now also gaining a foothold in the Hanseatic area.
Just like its creator, Ignaz B., the Fleming’s brand is always open to new innovation and improvements and keeps moving with the times. And even after his death, we are living out his founding vision and his understanding of perfect hospitality.

You can look forward to many new culinary highlights - we have a number of "signature dishes" which were developed.in close cooperation with the Fleming’s founding family. They bear the handwriting of our company founder who enjoyed bringing back new culinary discoveries from his many travels, dishes to melt in the mouth which you can now try for yourself.
Today, as it has always been, our goal and the expectation we have of ourselves is to provide our guests with the perfect stay. It doesn't matter whether you come to us as a business customer or privately – we want you to feel well-looked after, part of the Fleming's family.

This brand combines the highest standards with exclusive character, in a range of selected top locations. Outstanding service and high-class cuisine ensure that even the most discerning guests find that no wish has been left unfulfilled during their stay, allowing them to enjoy every moment to the fullest. As well as the usual amenities, such as free Wifi and an extensive breakfast buffet, you will find a Nespresso coffee machine awaiting you in your room, as well as a selection of Molton Brown luxury brand toiletries. Mineral water, beer, and soft drinks are provided free of charge in the mini bar.

The focus of “Fleming’s Hotels” lies clearly on the 4-star category. Here we offer our guests the usual classic “Fleming's quality” but with some additional facilities and service provided in the “Superior” category.
The difference between the Comfort and Superior room categories comprises a number of individual component aspects. The additional benefits to guests in our Superior rooms include the provision of a Nespresso coffee machine and a free-of-charge minibar. In the Comfort rooms, we provide free mineral water plus a kettle with tea and instant coffee.

As of January 2018, we are expanding our portfolio with our third and newest brand, the "Fleming's Express". Fleming’s Express is a straightforward guest experience for the next generation. Today's young travellers take it for granted that they can use mobile communication services any time any place, so they will quickly feel that they are in the right place. They will be greeted by a design conscious and unconventional ambience with Smart technology such as the convenient new check-in desk.
