Easter market in Frankfurt

March 2026

The volunteer-run Easter Market in Frankfurt will be back next year. While the exact dates and details are still to be confirmed, one thing is certain: it will be a fun and spring-inspired event at the Dominican Monastery, featuring colorful, creatively decorated Easter eggs, floral arrangements, and seasonal decorations.

For decades, the Frankfurt Easter Market has been a charity event. The proceeds will be donated to DMSG Hessen e.V. (German Multiple Sclerosis Society).

Museumsuferfest

August 28–30, 2026

The Museumsuferfest in Frankfurt takes place every year on the last weekend in August and is dedicated to Frankfurt's museums and the River Main. It attracts around one million visitors and combines art and culture with stage productions and stagings. The festival is an important platform for the presentation of Frankfurt's cultural institutions and artists.

RHEINGAU WINE MARKET

The traditional Rheingau wine market is the place to be for wine lovers. Held every year in late summer on the Freßgass, Frankfurt's promenade, it showcases the wines of Rheingau wineries. The vintners are always happy to advise you personally.

Literaturhaus Frankfurt

A house with room for literature - in the middle of Frankfurt am Main.

The Literaturhaus Frankfurt is a place for literary encounters and the exploration of contemporary international literature. It was founded in 1991 and moved from the Westend to the rebuilt Alte Stadtbibliothek an der Schönen Aussicht in 2005.

Author readings, non-fiction discussions, conferences, award ceremonies, parties and performances take place in the classicist rooms. Under the roof of the Young Literature House, children and young people meet for children's book readings, comic workshops and writing workshops, while teachers exchange ideas in courses of lectures at the Schöne Aussicht.

The Literaturhaus Frankfurt is located directly opposite our Flemings Hotel Frankfurt Main-Riverside.

The Alte Oper in Frankfurt has a long and storied history. Ever since it first opened its doors to the public in 1880, it has earned a permanent place in the hearts of music lovers.
