The annual film festival turns Vienna's Rathausplatz into a magnet for music lovers and night owls, as musical films and culinary delights take center stage.

From July 10 to August 10, 2025, Vienna will become the heart of the international dance and performance scene with the ImPulsTanz - Vienna International Dance Festival. Prepare for breathtaking performances by stars like Dada Masilo, William Kentridge, and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.  

For dance enthusiasts, the festival offers over 250 workshops at the Arsenal, ranging from ballet and jazz to hip hop and modern dance. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned dancer, there’s something for everyone.  

Plus, enjoy the added bonus of free open-air dancing at Public Moves!

The frame[o]ut film festival presents a colorful cross-section of documentaries and independent films from around the world on 16 evenings (Fridays and Saturdays) in July and August. Enjoy international, innovative and local cinema under the stars. A site is also planned for inclement weather.

End of September 2025, Vienna is all about design. Vienna Design Week showcases the full spectrum of design through a variety of events, including exhibitions, workshops, and installations. In the 3rd district, at the Docks on Landstraßer Gürtel, you can explore exhibitions, workshops, and a trendy pop-up café.

One of the highlights of Vienna Design Week is that almost all events are free and open to the public.
